Julie Benson is a senior association leader with over 14 years of experience driving membership growth, engagement, and revenue strategy for national trade associations.

BIO | Most recently, Julie served as Vice President of Membership at the Equipment Leasing & Finance Association( ELFA), the leading trade association representing more than 650 member organizations across the $ 1.3 trillion U. S. equipment finance industry. During her tenure, she strengthened the association’ s membership value proposition and increased membership revenue through strategic growth, retention, and engagement initiatives.
Julie is known for her ability to build trusted relationships and influence across complex stakeholder groups. She has worked effectively with leaders at every level, partnering with executive leadership, staff teams, board members, and member volunteers, to align organizational strategy with the evolving needs of the industry. A trusted advisor to both staff and volunteer leaders, Julie translates member insights into initiatives that strengthen engagement, retention, and growth.
Julie holds a bachelor’ s degree in psychology from UC Riverside, an MBA from Cal State Long Beach, and is a Certified Association Executive( CAE).

She is recognized for building high-performing teams, aligning strategy with execution, and elevating organizational visibility and influence.
