The 2025 North American Dealer Conference, hosted by the North American Equipment Dealers Association( NAEDA), brought together equipment dealership professionals from across North America for three days of learning, networking, and industry insight.

The event focused on“ Navigating the Future of New and Used Equipment”, with sessions designed to help dealers manage inventory more sustainably, leverage data and technology( including AI), and refine business strategies in a shifting market environment.
Attendees participated in keynote presentations and breakout sessions covering topics such as AI adoption at dealerships, auction strategies, dealer-manufacturer alignment, and using UCC data to drive sales. NAEDA consistently brings together leading Ag and OPE manufacturers for an engaging panel that tackles the industry’ s most pressing issues from tariffs and electrification to market challenges and what’ s ahead for dealers.
Notable speakers included:
• Mike Pearson, broadcast director and host of This Week in Agribusiness, delivered the opening keynote on agricultural policy, market progress, and trends shaping the equipment industry.
• Brian Kight, leadership and culture expert with Daily Discipline, delivered the closing keynote, inspiring attendees on building disciplined, highperformance teams and organizations.
• Ted A. McKinney, CEO of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture, offering insights on trade, policy, and agriculture’ s role in the broader market landscape.
• Dan Ujczo, associate general counsel at Cenovus Energy, sharing expertise on cross-border trade, regulatory issues, and supply chain implications relevant to dealers.
At the conference’ s awards banquet, NAEDA recognized industry leaders, including honors such as Dealer of the Year and Dealer Advocate of the Year, highlighting dedication and contributions to the equipment dealership community.
Overall, NADC 2025 offered practical strategies, peer connections, and forwardlooking perspectives to help dealers adapt and grow in a competitive landscape.
